We had low expectations when going into the restaurant. Not because of the way it looked. But because so many places in these tourist towns are ultimately disappointing. But the service was really good here and the fish and chips rank amongst the best that I have ever had. And it's one if ny favourite meals.

Originally stopped by for a restaurant that was closed (on a Monday)- decided to go in here rather than start the car up and so glad I did!! Went with the fish and chips and the fish was HUGE. Fries were fresh and service was impeccable. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Food was decent, English was a barrier and we didn't get what we ordered. Paid $50 for 2 people to eat because we got twice what we ordered. Girlfriend and another couple we were eating with said the fish had to much batter.

Family of 5 had lunch here: 2 orders of haddock fish and chip, fried shrimps, poutines. The restaurant was recommended by our cottage operator as one of the two "must-visit" PEI fish and chip spots. The other one is Richards. She was spot on for both. Cavendish's fish were extremely flakey, flavorful and batter was crunchy and light. The two pieces were large and each piece can easily be a meal for one hungry person. The best thing is that for some reason the wait here is much shorter, compared to Richards where we waited in line for 2 hours the day before. Next time we are back in PEI we will definitely come back.
